SAKE
Sake discovered, explained and served in Treviglio
At La Bidule, sake is not a curiosity but a serious gastronomic drink, to be discovered with clarity and precision. Erica is a Sake Sommelier and will guide you through a tasting journey designed to make sake easy to understand and enjoyable for everyone.

Non un angolo esotico, una selezione ragionata
Every sake that comes into La Bidule is selected through study, tasting and consistency with our identity: quality, meaningful relationships with place and producers, and a thoughtful, food-oriented approach to drinking.
Our selection is small but intentional, designed to tell the story of different styles, rice polishing ratios, aromatic profiles and serving possibilities.
We do not choose sake because it 'looks impressive'. We choose it because it can be an extraordinary drink to enjoy, understand and pair with food.
Why sake is strategic right here

IN TREVIGLIO
In Treviglio, sake is still a rare offering. We want to provide a real opportunity to approach sake without having to travel far or find yourself in overly specialist settings.

IN BERGAMO AND LOMBARDY
Across Bergamo and Lombardy, a thoughtful, accessible and high-quality sake offering is still uncommon in our area, despite growing interest.

IN NORTHERN ITALY
Interest in sake is growing across Northern Italy and opportunities to discover it are increasing, especially in larger cities. Our choice is to bring this culture beyond the major centres too, with a consistent offering explained with care.
La Bidule aims to be a credible local reference point for anyone curious to discover sake.

Always at least one sake by the glass
At La Bidule there is always at least one sake available by the glass. It is the perfect opportunity both for those trying sake for the first time and for those who want to explore and compare different styles.
The selection changes over time and may include junmai, ginjo, daiginjo, more savoury profiles, elegantly aromatic sake and surprising bottles, selected as we go.
You do not need to know it to appreciate it
"I have never tried it."
"I thought it was only served hot."
"I like white wine, where do I start?"
"I’d like to try something different."
How we tell you about it
Our approach is clear, accessible and free from unnecessary jargon. We guide you through sake in simple, practical language grounded in what happens in the glass, because we believe it is a drink that can work beautifully with food and surprise even those who have never considered it before.
During service or tastings, we explain:
-
the main styles and differences
-
production methods
-
aromatic profiles
-
serving temperatures
-
food pairings

Dedicated tastings
Alongside our by-the-glass service, we organise guided sake tastings to explore styles, regions and pairings in an informal, welcoming setting.
